Missing DLL

Windows 10 64 bit, GIMP 3 RC1 

Hi,

I just installed GIMP 3 RC1. The first thing I did was hook up a pattern folder in the Preferences dialog.
   

When I restarted GIMP 3, I get a slew of repeated errors, one for each file I suppose, listed in the console.
   
Is this an issue? Do I need to report it? Is there a fix?

I can confirm that bug for Windows 10 / Gimp 3 
A jpeg pattern does not load, png and .pat are ok.  Not a bug with linux.

You should report it to  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gimp/-/issues

In the meantime convert your jpeg patterns to png

Thank you for the response and work-around. I posted the issue.

The weird part is that on my Linux I see several libpixbufloader-* for various types (ico, bmp, tga, tiff, xbp, xpm...) but none for jpg and png. And the Jpeg pattern I tested worked nevertheless....

Hi all! Yes, this was an issue with Windows packaging. It's been fixed for the next release (see https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gimp/-/issues/12351)
