I liked this effect, very artistic.
The result obtained in the image "the square with reflections or the swallower of street lamps" was inspiring!

Thank you very much, for your encouragement. I like this effect too . I tried to post here "Square with reflections", but I don't know why, the image in preview loses a lot of quality, even in 300dpi, so I gave up ; but it's easy to go to my site with one click.
See you soon

reminds me of curtains or lighting on curtains, i wonder if you could (probably can) use a high contrast curtain multiply layer.

Not really in your case compared to the size (pixels) of your image. When I see an image of yours with a WxH size of 578x400 and weighing almost 500 kilo because you save the JPG at 100%, it looks to me like you did not understand the JPG format. Everything above quality 94-95% you're just adding weight, because 100% is only a mathematical top barrier... For the Forum, you can have a way larger picture like 1400x800, with JPG quality at 86-88% max weighing a lot less that 300kb and have people enjoying more your pictures because they can click on it to see the bigger picture (click on my screenshot) and they are not stuck at that "thumbnail" size of 600x400, just my thoughts (*) for non French speaking people you just read that I'm using the word "weight", because in French we do have different words for the size in pixels and the size taken on the drive
