Thanks yall
Hate to be a pain in the arse, but what folder do I place the script file ofn-text-along-path.py ? I placed the script in the C:/Program Files/GIMP 2/Python/Lib folder and when I open gimp and make a path then right click on the path, the ofn-text-along-path option is not in the Tools sub menu according to the doc in the Zip file.

The Move tool has three modes. Move: Layer, Selection, Path.
Set to Path to move the path.
Note: Rotating etc a path gives better results than doing the same to a selection. Use the path and do Path to Selection as late as possible.
Have a look at the Ofnuts text along path plug-in. It has several advantages over the version that comes standard with Gimp. It is available from here:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/gimp-pa...s/scripts/
See https://www.gimp-forum.net/Thread-ofn-text-along-path for some hints/examples
