I have opened another image into Gimp, a jpg, and want to put this as a new layer on the t-shirt. The problem is, when I do, the new layer is greyscale. I've done it before, and it's been ok, I just don't know what's happening, or how to resolve it. The original jpg is in colour, it's only when I paste it into the t-shirt png, that it goes wrong. I've noticed that the forground colour on the t-shirt, has a pink triangle in the top left corner?
The PNG is likely either greyscale or color-indexed (look for these in the title bar). Change it to full RGB (Image>Mode>RGB)
Thanks. Yes, that's done the trick. Don't know how it changed though, as I said, I've done it before without issues. Thanks again.
