Before the crop, have a look at the X / Y resolution and print size using Image -> Print size (1)
After the crop check again and set the resolutions to 300 ppi - the rule-of-thumb for quality printing (2) Now, does the size look reasonable for what you intend.

Go into the Gimp print dialogue. File -> Print If necessary increase the resolutions to give suitable margins. Tick 'Ignore Page Margins' and use Center 'Both'  (3)
The bottom margin for an Inkjet printer will always be there, needed for paper feed ,usually about 10 - 12 mm ( 1/2 inch) If your image encroaches that margin it will be cropped.
Not able to see those settings ? You are using the horrible Gimp black theme, which still hides the bottom of the print dialogue.

Hit the print key and hope. It might work or it might print full sheet ignoring your settings. The gimp-print plugin has been broken for years.

My advise: Use something else. Export your image to png or jpeg format.

Printing a bit easier to set up: screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/88aYWMT.jpg

Thanks. Wow, that's a bit laborious. Photpshop (at least old CS versions) centered image on page automatically.

By the way, doesn't work. Prints image in top left corner of page regardless of aIgnore Print Margins checked or unchecked, with Center Both specified.
