GIMP 2.10 fails to open because of GEGL old version

Thank you everyone, I will try and do something with your answers. Being a newbie I have to get help from a friend who knows Linux better than me and I will pass on your info.
I did try to install a flatpack version of GIMP 2.10 but then I wasn't able to add the gmic plug ins ... how can I do that? Thanks |
