I am trying to repair this badly damaged b&w old photo. I have tried heal and clone tools , but they dont help much. The dress is supposed to be off white color. But using paint brush is ok, but when I change mode to overlay or softlight, the damages reappear.
I also trie wavelet decompse, but this also did not help.
Can you please suggest the best way to repait this photo.
I have left out the face.
