Actually, I don't think this has anything to do with RawTherapee or Darktable. It seems the 's' of 'standard' in sRGB is ignored, and each software does whatever it wants (seems to me that browsers don't handle the color profiles properly?).
I decided to completely give up color management in GIMP, i.e., no color management, and to disable "Save color profile" in the export dialog. At least in this way I have a uniform look on all software.
