You have the Gimp installer on your desktop.
You run the installer but do not use the 'customize' option. That has the option for a desktop shortcut

Otherwise, Use windows explorer and find C:\Program Files\ Gimp 2\ bin\gimp-2.10.exe and make your own shortcut. Drag the shortcut onto the desktop. quick example: https://i.imgur.com/9w3RV86.mp4
Irrespective of that, Gimp should be in the Windows applications menu. Is it there ?
