Sorry about time delay.
Am now in Gimp 2.10. on MxLinux/debian. Was doing ok & but got same crazy bug, my Gimp has inversion Covid.
1-Interface was 'normal' but now all is somewhat inversed right vs left again & missing options the default interface layers options & other default areas [see screenshot]. I deleted & reloaded Gimp from gimp site & then also the debian repository. Gimp still in 'inverse', weird twilight zone. Fixable or frorever doomed? I will be scrambling around according to previous replies...
2-I still find icons too large but did i mention i am using Gimp on a large 32" tv screen, resolution= 1360x768. Tool thumbs are gitantic & take too much space. Tried a reset, makes icons small for a second until i press a button which makes it revert sizes, i'm confused.
Thanks for reading
'gimprc-bak' works well. Yes great.
*Solved
I wonder what's it doing ?
