Hiding image/tab bar on single window mode, when only one image open

You can not hide the tab.

Tabs for all open images, even one image, came in with versions later than 2.8.8 ( round about 2.8.14)

There is in the development version of Gimp, currently 2.9.7 The tabs can be relocated to left/right/bottom.
