For Canon Pixma printers.
That is a big installation. I did download and unpack one of the installers and as far as I can see, none of the more usual 8bf /8b* types. It looks like a stand-alone application, the installation runs to 70 MB, lots of files.
For information there was/is an ancient Gimp plugin pspi that used a specific type of PS 8bf plugin filter. Nothing wonderful there, the gimp_gmic_qt plugin is a better substitute these days.
This from the readme
With Print Studio Pro, you can print photos in various styles,
including bordered, borderless, index, monochrome, and using ICC profile.
Windows Gimp is not a good application for printing, so I understand the wish for something better. However you can edit to give various effects, change the icc then print bordered or borderless from Gimp.
A better way, export your edited image and print with something else, like XnViewMP or IrfanView.
Edit:
For anyone wondering about pspi there are some screenshots here: http://gimpchat.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=19920
and the plugin is here: https://www.gimpscripts.net/2020/09/pspi-107win32.html
