The 'ThinnedPython2Tree.tar.gz' is a drop-in python2 for making AppImages. I posted it for ivan-hc who used it here.

but this appimage > https://github.com/TasMania17/Gimp-Appim...y.AppImage opens the one installed via PPA I did downloaded it again few minutes ago to be sure and yet it's GIMP 2.10.34 which opens
