why is the programme cramming all my replies to different people onto the SAME reply?? in what world does it make any sense to do that? which university text-book do i need to read to enlighten myself on the sophisticated intricacies of the workings of this evolved forum?
To not have multiple posts of the same author for the same thread following each one in a row, there is a 2 or 3 hours buffer where the post will be added to its previous post. If and only if no one did answer in between during that time.
Multiple advantage to this,
- it take less space to read, as it just one post
- it requests less connections to the data base (arguable, but when searching a post it's also easier on the list)
- accumulated posts during this buffer period are separated by a horizontal line, aesthetically it looks better to me (but that strictly personal )
