Do you know if it's possible and if yes, how can I remove chromatic aberrations in GIMP?
Thanks for helping the newbie
Cheers.
There is a (very) old plugin that you can try, fix-ca
See: http://kcd.sourceforge.net/fix-ca.php for details
The attached zip file contains both 32 bit and 64 bit compiled-for-Windows fix-ca ver. 3.02.
If using Windows 64 bit, use the 64 bit version otherwise use the 32 bit version.
When un-zipped pop the file fix-ca.exe in your Gimp profile C:\Users\your-name\.gimp-2.8\plug-ins
Just tried in a Win7 64 bit and it works there. When installed find it in Filters -> Colors -> Chromatic Aberration
Edit: Otherwise if it is something like a fringing problem try Colours -> Hue & Saturation then reduce the saturation on blue and cyan possibly on a selection to constrain the effect
