I forgot that Fedora is 'cutting edge' and releases beta software whenever it can. GIMP 2.99.19 is the latest beta release. I did not solve it yet, but I just reckon that other users will protest as well and the next version will install the print preview ability back. For now I just have to deal with the new situation. I will probably migrate to Debian which has a more stable platform. I used to want the latest latest stuff, now I want stability.
