Absolutely zero guarantee, I have tried in both a Mint 21 (VM) and a Mint 22 (VM) It is not cutting edge. A re-mix using the Gimp 3 RC 2 binaries from the 'buntu PPA and a couple of libfiles for backward compatibility. Remember gmic needs QT5, Mint should be ok, don't know about others.
The great thing about an appimage, do-not-like/not working Easy to delete.
