I would try to find out where the fonts files are, and if any were added by checking their creation date(*). Then disable them all (move/rename) all, see if Gimp starts, and if so put them back one by one until Gimp crashes again.

(*) on windows file systems, files have a "creation" date, which is when the file appeared in the file system, so it should be recent. By contrast the "modification" date (which is the one usually displayed), indicates the age of the contents, so a file you install can have a rather old modification date (last change by the publisher) but will have a recent creation date (when you installed).
