I have used Gimp minimally for many years, mostly to rescale images and/or converting file formats.
I have never used layers.
I simply want to paste several images on page (8.5x11 sheet of paper) to print them.
In my recent attempt I think I was able to paste another into the file, but I'm guessing they are on top of each other. If so I don't know how to move the 2nd one pasted to another position in my imaginary grid.
I would accept any reasonable way to do this whether it involves layers.
