The image you attached is 600x600, and not 1024 by 1024 as announced? But then I would be interested in the XCF (you can use the strongest compression, that should put it under the allowed 2MB. Otherwise, crop it to 512x512 and check that you can still reproduce the problem at that size before attaching it here.
