Obviously I need much, much more practise 
Now I lost my Tool Options from the Toolbox. Could recover Tool Options from Windows>Dockable Dialogues, but the Tool Options will not dock again to the Toolbox, try as I might. I searched Gimps Help, I googled, found recipes but nothing works as described. I remember that I could do it years ago, but I cannot remember how I did it 
I am totally, totally frustrated
Maybe somebody looks here and could help with a working recipe for Gimp 2.8.18 on Linux?
