Are you GIMP developer? Could you bring path tools in regular GIMP installation below paths UI ?
- No. Gimp is designed to be easy to extend with scripts and plugins, so you can add to Gimp without being an official "Gimp developer".
- If you mean, can I make my stuff part of the regular Gimp, the answer is no for two reasons:
- I'm not the one to decide. It's a well know fact that in complex applications (Gimp, your word processor, you spreadsheet, etc.... 80% of the people use 20% of the functionality and 80% of the functionality is used bt only 20% of the people (and is just applications bloat to others).
- If my plugins were part of the of regular Path tool they would have to be rewritten in C, and be more interactive. Not a trivial task.
