It is a GTK bug. You could try something like this in system settings - apply colors to non-qt applications. Edit: or untick it if it is ticked - one or the other

otherwise you might have to change the overall theme.

If I download/install 2.8.22 will I have library version conflicts, manual updates? and VLC problem.
