Two places you can configure the grid Edit -> Preferences -> Default Image -> Default Grid
or A per-image basis Image -> Configure Grid see: https://docs.gimp.org/2.10/en/gimp-image...-grid.html Save the image as an .xcf and those settings are saved with the image. That is quite a large canvas for a 1x1 grid, some zoom settings and it will blank out everything so check View -> Show Grid and View -> Snap to Grid The settings are a personal choice, I prefer something unobtrusive. https://i.imgur.com/SsrYBHd.jpg Up to you. It is the way the parametric .vbr brushes work. Something to do with the radius but not 100% sure.
If you need an exact 10x10 then make your own .gbr brush. |
