Now that is the sort of response guaranteed to get you overlooked. You already know all about it. Use the paint tool and get painting.

However;

Make a new layer Layer -> New Layer
Use the rectangular select tool and make a rectangle for the path.
Fill the selection / paint in it / make your pattern
Turn the selection off. Select -> None
Reduce the layer size to smallest size Layer -> Crop to Content
Use the Perspective Tool Tools -> Transform Tools -> Perspective (shift P)
