I need to crop them. Is there a deformation technique to get the most of them, similar to the boundary warp tool in Photoshop?
Note, I have added a feature request here: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gimp/-/issues/4679, but until somebody implements it, if somebody will, I need an workaround. I am sure it is not trivial.
Thank you.
You could also try using the Cage Transform tool and/or some strategic cropping, but I would suggest the heal transparency tool the same as @rich2005.
I would add a couple notes though.
- If you are not happy with the results, you can try again and will get some different results. (also tweak the sampling area as needed)
- After an initial try with heal transparency, just select the areas that didn't turn out like you wanted and redo just those parts.
- Combine this with the heal/clone tools to take care of the finer details.
