Brush size changes without input

Without seeing all of the tool options.  Try setting the dynamics option to Dynamics OFF

Anyone who has used gimp 4 a week knows that shutting dynamics OFF is the first thing you try. If I knew what caused my brush to change sizes I could fix it. So the real question should be. Why or how does this problem occur? It is obviously a stupid setting. Find the cause and the problem will be easy to fix. I find it so frustrating when people answer questions and they know no more or less than I. I should have dedicated my time to Autodesk, Blender, or Adobe.

In the case at hand this is the usual answer to the question about the brush having a random or unexpected behavior, which happens to be a very frequent question... You will note that we are taught later that the number are not so random, and so can then provide a correct answer. A good answer somehow depends on an accurate question(*).

Nice to see that you took the trouble to register here to share your opinion.

(*) Which is also why it is important to register your OS and Gimp version accurately...
