Can't change brush size.

I can't figure out how to change the brush size. On another website it shows a picture of the slider under the title of the brush but on my screen there's no slider. Where is the slider supposed to be?

Somehow you have closed the Tool Options which normally reside in that big square "You can drop dockable dialogues here"

1. Go to the Gimp Windows menu -> Dockable Dialogues -> Tool Options (top of the list)

2. Click on the tab tof the Tool Options dock and drag to under the Tools Window
