You need to go here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/gimp-pat...s/scripts/ and it is about 4 or 5 down ofn-path-to-shape.zip comes with comprehensive guides.

Looks like this, for a simple circle, create a radius path, right click, follow the menu entries.

The one Blighty refers to is the path-shape script, which requires a bit of dimensions (in pixels) entry.

I still use it because it is a script and I load it as-and-when-required.

Was in the now defunct gimp-registry site so script attached: unzip, goes in scripts folder.

I have downloaded the file stuck it in the scripts folder opened up gimp but its nowhere to be seen...
Am I doing something wrong.

You are using Gimp 2.10? That is what it looks like in the screenshot.

If that is correct, why put the script in C:\Users\n\.gimp-2.8 scripts.

Unzip, put shape-path.scm in C:\Users\n\AppData\Roaming\GIMP\2.10\scripts
