G'mic in Gimp 2.10

I just installed 2.10 and then I downloaded and installed the latest G'mic version but G'mic isn't showing up in my "Filters" list. I even restarted Gimp and it STILL ain't there! WTF. ACK!

Which version of Windows are you using, Did you use the gimp-gmic.exe installer or the zip version.

QT or GTK

Finally there seems a problem with latest Gimp 2.10.0 "Just installed it", must be gimp-2.10.0-setup-1.exe you have.

Windows 10 and I used the installer. I just closed and restarted both Gimp and then my computer and it STILL doesn't show up in "Filters". I use to use G'mic a lot doctoring photographs and I really miss it.
Hmmm...   what folder should G'mic be in for Gimp to recognize it?

Should work ok:

This is the latest installer also the QT version. Correctly identifies the Gimp profile plug-ins folder: screenshot https://i.imgur.com/bQ0gNgN.jpg

Puts one folder full of files in the Gimp profile plugins folder.
C:\Users\your-name\AppData\Roaming\GIMP\2.10\plug-ins https://i.imgur.com/c1lqx9u.jpg

No need to do anything else: https://i.imgur.com/FuJ9rqr.jpg

but I am using the very first Gimp 2.10.0 version from the end of April

Finally! Thanks for the help. I uninstalled both programs and started over and it worked this time.

I remember you and Ofnuts from years ago, Rich, on the previous forum. You guys were a BIG help back then and I sure am glad you're both back up. I stopped even looking for help when the other forum died and have just been stumbling around since then. I hope the novices realize what a valuable resource you guys are. Thanks again.
