I decided to let the Gimp-git machine do their thing with the appimages because I'm not able to contribute. I have some time and decided to learn updating python2 plugins. I think people will be looking for tools like gimphelpers.

Just updated. Btw, created a "GimpHelpers thread" in the "Scripting Questions" section, better continue there.
