New to GIMP. Started with 2.8 last year, just upgraded to 2.10.4 today.
I have tried to increase the tool icons size by checking the preferences etc. No luck. Annoying when the icons are so small.
Noted in 2.10.4, the icons are not colored anymore. How can I bring back the colored icons? Easier to pick the right icons when they are in colors.
Many thanks.

Thanks.
I am using a 27" 4K monitor.
Will try out what you have suggested.

Tried what was suggested. Got what I need, size and color.
Time to start with GIMP lesson 1 to get up to speed. Ha.
Thanks.

I know this is an old thread, but I cannot find an answer that works. The links in this article are broken, and my icons are unusably small. The screen resolution is 3840x2400 on a 13 inch screen. I tried manually selecting "huge" under the icon theme custom icon size, but it didn't make any difference. Gimp version 2.10.22 on Windows 10 20H2. The Windows display scaling is 300%.
Ideas?

Thanks for the response. Unfortunately, that is also where I set mine to "HUGE", but didn't see any difference.
Interestingly, the preview version 2.99 works just fine without any adjustment. Unfortunately, basic things like exporting to JPG/PNG do not work in the preview version for me, so I need to find a way to fix this with the current version.
