I have a workflow in GIMP 2.10 which opens a RAW file via Darktable. This creates a 32bitFP image.
Initially the image appears correctly.
If I then select Colors/Hue-Saturation I get an image with a very different histogram and appearance.
On cancelling the dialog the image returns to its initial state. However, if I leave the sliders in their default unaltered state the changes are preserved.
If I convert the image to any of the available integer precisions before selecting Colors/Hue-Saturation the problem does not occur.
Can someone please explain what is happening.
Thanks a lot.
Tim
