Problem when I select, copy and paste as new image
#1
Unlike Gimp 2.10, Gimp 3.0 creates a new image the size of the old one when I select, copy/or cut and paste as new image. The only trick I found is to create an empty image the size of the selection, and Paste as Floating Data, the put it in the right place.

What a waste of time !

I regret Gimp 2.10 for basic use (and with Manjaro, no way to downgrade Gimp 3.0 to 2.10).

You could try a Gimp 2.10.38 appimage

Of course, but it's a bit of a frustation. Or I can use Krita, that works well.

I think this has been reported as a bug.
