Most of the "patch" is re-arranging the Gimp docks to give the vertical tools on the left and other docks on the right. It throws in a load of extra brushes and presets. Most of that you can do manually. You can merge the "GIMP 2.10" folder with the "GIMP 3.0" folder. Most of the files are text with the exception of the brushes and plug-ins. I use linux / appimage and it looks like this.
What is not going to work and I doubt if it will be updated anytime (never) are the plug-ins, which goes from ancient davids-batch-plugin (dbp) to just old, wavelet denoise. I am generally against this type of layout. The important docks are restricted in size. Tool options in particular. ...but it is up to the user. |
