Simplifying a path
#21
Current link redirects incorrectly and the file is not reachable. Does anyone have a valid link to this plugin and maybe the G2-continuous paths plugin by the same author.

Which plugin from the original post(s) ?
Are you sure it is not your web-browser stopping the download for over-zealous security reasons ?  Mine does but I can over-ride it.

For the G2 plugin I can put it as a download here if it is any help.

Edit: I put the simplify plugin here as well. Either are python plugins, unzip and put in your plugins folder.

I definitely haven't had access to this page for several days now.

As there have been no updates or additions to the list of plugins on this page, for now this lack of access doesn't bother me at all.

Just tried again, quick and fast, no problem
It could be something with the browser you are using, is your browser set to https only? if so disable that option, this website does not have SSL/TLS certificate.
Delete your cookies for this website or maybe disable your add blocker (or change to Ublock Origin) or any other plugins as it could be from a plugin of your browser (try with firefox or any other than the one you're using).
I mean it's just a [u]static[/] html page... normally, so should be very quick and fast.

I have the same problem as Krikor. I tried different browsers and resetting my Hosts file.  Undecided

It is probably going to be the browser.  My usual Slimjet works, an old Quartz-browser (portable appimage) works
but an up-to-date Firefox also an Opera (portable appimage) do not work with the site - too many redirects error.

Edit: As an example, this one is Ofnuts Sourceforge page. Something in Sourceforge that screws up the page in Slimjet (chromium based) so I use Quartz (qt-webkit based)

I wonder what the common factor is for those browsers that fail (block) on the http://kmarkku.arkku.net site ?

It actually ping-pongs you between HTTP and HTTPS URLS. Sometimes your browser forgets to follow. Problems appears (or not) with Firefox, Chromium and wget for me.

I don't know about http or https, nor do I know how to disable this option.

For me it only appears https://kmarkku.arkku.net//Path_modify_fil...aster.html (haaa now that I used ctrl+c, ctrl+v the http became visible here in the text editor.)

I had already deleted the cookies, but it didn't work.

I paused Adblock for this page, but something isn't right:
Generally when Adblock is paused for a page it turns green (no longer red). In this case, Adblock warns that the page is paused, and even gives the option to re-activate Adblock, but the AdBlock icon remains red all the time (even after several attempts to refresh the page)

I've tried using Brave, Opera, and Edge with no success.

I tried SiteChecker's website within Edge. I rarely use Edge.
