Do moderators have enough rights to clean up the spam?
I think it'd be better if the forum had been cleaned up or a static frozen forum and use it as a way to direct traffic to this forum for new questions.

Yes,  but that means removing posts one by one. Also no way for mods to take preventive measures. GF was becoming a pain until I became admin and could ban IP ranges.

oh i didn't know that I thought moderators had more rights...ah well.
Let that ship sink, and let GF rise out of the ocean and become a new island that many people come to.
