Greets!

New to gimp, I'd like to use a stylus to draw, but I know nothin about it. What are the gimp specifics ones to use, could I use but the stylet without a tablet, should I invest on expensive ones?

You need the tablet to use the stylus. Less problems with Wacom (Intuos, Bamboo) tablets it seems. No need for a big one, if it is accurate enough (A5 format is fine), unless you are used to draw with a pen.
