Way to increase contrast of bnw lines in image

Hi all, i am an absolute beginner in image editing. So i have a question  . I downloaded a free blueprint from a website but the problem is that image is super low resolution and the lines are not very clear. i have attached the blueprint. Could some one just tell me if it's possible to increase the contrast of those lines and make them clearer in Gimp. THANKS

Try using the colour curves Colors -> Curves and drag the line down like this
