[split] image changing size

i want to resize a image, how can i do this?

More general information required. What is the size of the image in pixels (look at the top of the Gimp window for that)
and how much do you want to resize.

There are two main ways:
Image -> Scale image This will adjust the size of the image in pixels (up or down) but depending on the amount of scaling will degrade an image.

Image -> Print Size keeps the size in pixels but as the name adjusts the internal image information to set the image size for printing.
