Try the attached: Unzip and put photolab_curvebatch-gs.py in your Gimp 2.8 profile C:\Users\"yourname"\.gimp-2.8\plug-ins. Remember to remove the old version
This is a quick hack and only for grayscale images. It changes the color mode to RGB, applies the curve, changes back to color mode grayscale. Only for grayscale, any RGB images will give an error I always give these a try-out. This in Win7 / Gimp 2.8.20 One minute demo: https://i.imgur.com/gsK6aj3.mp4 Edit: I still recommend BIMP It does not matter if the images are RGB or grayscale.

Rich2005 and Ofnuts
I was increasingly thinking that GIMP didn't like me, but these are the quirks of a 71-year-old "Old Man", who has been involved with this comics craziness for a long time. This last script worked like a charm, but only on Windows 7. And naturally "Bimp" also worked, I was testing both situations and in the middle of testing BIMP, the new script came up and worked perfectly I don't know how to thank YOU both, and so I do it in the only way possible. THANK YOU VERY, VERY, VERY MUCH Arodri
