Installing G.MIC
#11
I only reinstalled Gimp once Smile

Yes I have deleted my user profile. Closed and reopened Gimp, then tried reinstalling G.Mic. The problem persisted.
I even emptied 2.10 of its content. Gimp recreated the files when it reopened.
I think my problem may be of another nature. I do not know anymore Cry

Ok. Thank you very much Rich2005 for your help, advice and patience. As well as at PixLab.
I'm going to check out the sites you point me to and follow your advice.
I will still probe my PC to check if everything is working and optimize it if necessary.
I will inform you here of the continuation.

Hello

I'm just dropping by to let you know.
Don't think I dropped the topic without telling you.
As I told you in my previous message, I am doing a thorough scan of my PC and therefore the disinfection and repair that go with it.
I'll come back to you as soon as it's finished.

hello

As I said above, I am coming back to inform you that my problem is solved.
Following a thorough scan of the PC and an optimization, it turns out that the cause of the malfunction is most certainly due to corrupt or damaged files.
I was also able to install Nick collection with no problem.
I will close this subject by thanking you Rich2005 and PixLab for having advised and supported me in solving this problem.
Thank you my friends.

No need to keep reinstalling Gimp. That rarely fixes anything.

I would delete all those files in the plugin folder, then use the installer, not the zip.

Check-list:
Gimp is version 2.10.34 http://www.gimp.org
gimp_gmic_qt is version 3.2.3 https://gmic.eu/files/windows/gmic_3.2.3..._win64.exe

Run the gimp_gmic_qt installer and it adds the gmic folder to the plugins folder.  Start Gimp

After installation it looks like this: 40 seconds demo https://i.imgur.com/gUtk8zu.mp4

That is all I can advise. I do not know what you are doing.

This helped me sort out the same issue I was facing. Thanks!
