So for your classic photochop fun:
swapping faces from one person to the other,
whats the best way to adjust the skin color so that it matches ?
I usually just eye it with 'Hue-Saturation' and/or 'Colour Balance' and the result is mostly not very great.
There is also this technique:

which i find pretty hard to do.
Also not too keen on the 'Seamless Blending' G'MIC filter:
