Transition image from BW to colour

I still do not really get the concept. It reads more like an animation that scrolls across than an individual image.

However, more duplicates, desaturated layers and layer masks. This time with background and text separated into layer groups.

   

Have to pack in for the day now, maybe someone will be along to give more thoughts.
