The 15x15cm is 1722 x 1722 px in document 1. When I paste it over to the 2nd document it is still 1722 x 1722px but has changed the ppi to 72. When I change the ppi back to 300, it forces the image to be 1440 x 1440.
I have described it as best as I can. My question was - is there a way of preventing this from happening?
Nevermind, I've figured what the problem was! When I was creating a new document, the resolution was pre-set to 72x72. I created a 3rd document and made sure this was changed to 300 and I no longer have a problem with pasting!
