Maybe someone can get a shadow using the transform tools but not going to be straightforward. I tried all sorts without joy. The problem is the 2-D representation of a very 3-D object. Hands / feet touching the ground at quite different distances.
What you really need is a good artist to give advice and that is not me. You can get some guide for painting in a shadow by rendering a grid and rotating in the direction of the light.
