How to remove notepad lines from a handwritten message?

Hi all, another newbie question. I was hoping to find tutorials here because I'd like to know how to remove notepad lines from a handwritten message. TIA.

Depends a bit non the colors of the lines and the colors of the rest. For instance if the lines are bluish and you aren't too concerned by colors, you can boost the red and green channels (or just make a monochrome image from the blue channel, that you can then recolor...)
