I have an image that has to be used with a de-saturation shader. Normally I just up the saturation so the colors are not washed out, but said image already has several colors that are at maximum saturation. Is there any way to compensate for the de-saturation?

Thanks for your help rich2005, in order:
-Yes
-Tentatively yes, though it seems to be harder to parse then that.
-I was afraid of that.
-If there is I'd love to know it, that'd be really useful.
-I'll give that a go.
I was hoping there was some weird trick of color I could use to get around this one, but I think I'll have to do some really bananas code to sort this one.
