- add layer on top
- set layer mode to "multiply'
- set opacity to 84%
- paint over with black (you can make a selection to avoid spills)
- adjust opacity to adjust effect.
I found this method to be very cumbersome.
This way requires manually painting over the wheel with a brush.
This would probably take me 20 mins to do by hand. And it looks like crap.
Are you supposed to super ZOOM and just use a small brush and go around the lug nuts, etc?
Is there a more automated way?
Can't I just pick "replace silver with black" ?
Also, what if I wanted to paint the wheels the same color as the car.
Do I use the color picker tool instead of an RGB palette ?
Espermaschine,
How do I use the color picker?
I am trying to fill the new circle layer with the color of the car.
Espermaschine,
I have no idea what a layer mask is.
Can you tell me exactly what menu items I should click?
Please restate your directions with exact menu steps?
Big help!
1) I selected the round wheel
2) I chose color using color picker (I was on wrong layer)
3) I did bucket fill.
Now, I just have round black circle.
