  Auto-scaling does not work
Posted by: syscon - 03-19-2017, 06:31 PM - Forum: General questions - Replies (4)

when I cut and paste a part of an image from one document to another, it no longer auto scales and is instead much larger than the page itself.
This used to work but for some reason it doesn't any longer. Anyone else have/had this problem?

  Rectangle tool

Hi - I'm using the Rectangle tool but am finding the default rectangle has very slightly rounded corners - how do I change it so it has completely square corners?

Many thanks

Question Custom buttons bar
Posted by: andreim - 03-17-2017, 11:35 AM - Forum: General questions - Replies (6)

Is there a way to bring a bar with custom buttons? I'd very much like one to contain my frequently used commands. Such a workflow improvement.
I've searched on the web for such a plugin but I couldn't find any.

  color change
Posted by: integrator - 03-16-2017, 05:59 PM - Forum: General questions - Replies (10)

Hello,

We are using Gimp to create a transparency background from a autocad file. It works great, but we require another thing which I can't figure out. Once we create the transparency using "color to alpha" all of our walls etc... are in red (from autocad) I would like to change everything to black to stand out better in our graphics package.

Is this possible using Gimp?

Thanks

Display Saturation and Value as 0-255?
Posted by: ViciousVinnyD - 03-16-2017, 03:43 PM - Forum: General questions - Replies (7)

By default saturation and value are displayed as 0-100 in the color picker. Is it possible to change this to 0-255?

  Alter UV Map?
Posted by: Some Yahoo - 03-16-2017, 03:34 AM - Forum: General questions - Replies (1)

I have an image premade and I want to UV map it onto my object.  However, there seems to be no way to "unfold" an object onto an existing image. it always creates that ABC squares map.  I need to see the correct image in the UV mapperizer so I can correctly lay out my UV coordinates.

HOW?
